LPDA provided landscape master planning and detailed design services for Lot 1, within the Business and Technology Center in Bedford County, Virginia. A critical component of Lot 1 is the Center for Advanced Engineering and Research (CAER).
CAER is partnering with the Economic Development Authority (EDA) with the development of an energy research center within Lot 1. The CAER facility will house research labs, classroom space, and meeting rooms to support applied research and design activities.
The CAER facility has been integrated into the master plan for lot 1 and together, with the complete development for lot 1, emphasize sustainable green development solutions.
