LPDA is currently working with the Town of Clifton Virginia Streetscape Master Plan Committee to develop a Streetscape Master Plan for Main Street.
This page will serve as a tool for meeting updates and downloads for residents to review base information and design concepts.

Public Meeting #3 - Concept PresentationOn January 17th LPDA and the Committee held the final public presentation of the Master Plan concepts in the Town Meeting Hall. The graphics presented illustrated:

Environmental and Historic Resources Update
Process on Next Steps
The Town Council will be updated on the progress at the February 7th meeting. A joint Planning Commission / Town Council Public Hearing will take place on March 6th where the Master Plan will be considered for adoption.

Public Meeting #2 - Concept Design
On June 14th LPDA and the Committee held a second public information session at the Town Meeting Hall to introduce several conceptual solutions for the Streetscape Master Plan for Main Street. The graphics introduced illustrate solutions for:
• Utility relocation
• Storm water management
• Pedestrian safety and functionality
• Parking
• Right of way delineation
• Gateway concepts
• Master Plan
The meeting also discussed the timeline for completion and allowed the town residents and business owners to share their concerns and suggestions and have their questions answered.
LPDA will be working to resolve the concerns of the public and develop these plans further for a town presentation on September 27th.

Programming Session - Public Meeting #1
On April 28th LPDA and the Committee hosted a public information session in the Town Meeting Hall to discuss the Streetscape Project for Main Street
The focus of the meeting was the following:
• Discuss the history of the Clifton Streetscape project
• Explain funding sources and future funding mechanisms
• Discuss the Virginia Department of Transportation’s role in the funding and review process
• Show comparable projects and design solutions
• Take public comment on programming design solutions
• Take questions from the community.
