David Johnson, Project Designer

David Joined the LPDA Charlottesville office in 2015, and is involved with many phases of planning, design, and construction documentation for LPDA. His experience includes master planning, development, parks, trails, and urban design. David is skilled at creating base maps which are joined with strong graphic design skills and problem solving abilities to develop concept plans which flow into complete designs. His interest in, and knowledge of native plants has been a great asset to the firm. David is adept drafting with AutoCAD, layout work with Adobe InDesign, two-dimensional rendering using Adobe Photoshop, as well as three- dimensional modeling and rendering using SketchUp and Lumion.

Education/Registration/Professional Organizations
David attended The University of Rhode Island where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. He is currently working towards gaining his Landscape Architecture professional licensure.
